Hardwood Creations Inc ("Hardwood Creations," "we," "us") builds custom architectural cabinetry and millwork for residential clients in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for our text messaging program.

Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you provide it to us directly:

  • Clients and prospective clients — name, email address, phone number, and project address, provided when you contact us or engage us for a project.
  • Job applicants — name, contact information, and application materials, provided when you apply for a position (through a job board such as Indeed, or by emailing careers@hardwoodcreations.us).
  • Employees — contact information provided during hiring and employment.

We do not buy, rent, or collect personal information from third-party lists or data brokers.

How we use it

We use personal information to communicate with you about your project, your job application, or your employment; to schedule and coordinate work; and to operate our business. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging (SMS)

We operate a low-volume text messaging program from a dedicated business number for two purposes:

  1. Operational notifications to our own employees — schedule and job-status notifications related to work in progress.
  2. Hiring coordination with job applicants — scheduling interviews and paid working sessions, and following up on applications, only for the position you applied to.

Consent. Employees are notified that the mobile number they provide to us may be used for operational text notifications. Job applicants provide their mobile number as part of their application. We text only people who have provided their number to us directly, and only about the matter they provided it for. We never send marketing or promotional text messages.

No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time; you will receive a single confirmation message and nothing further. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, our telephone and email providers), and when required by law. We do not share or sell personal information for marketing purposes.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and take reasonable measures to protect it.
